Verification

Verification gates new members behind a click or captcha before they can access the rest of your server.

How it works

  1. You set up an unverified state (@everyone can't see most channels)
  2. New member joins → only sees a #verify channel
  3. They click the verification button (or solve a captcha)
  4. Mira grants them the verified role → they see the rest of the server

Two modes

  • Button — one click. Blocks most automated raid bots since they don't click buttons by default.
  • Captcha — small math question. Higher friction, blocks more sophisticated bots.

Auto-kick

Optionally set Mira to kick members who don't verify within N minutes. Recommended: 60 minutes if your server is raid-prone.

Setup

  1. Create a Verified role with access to your channels
  2. Remove the same channels from @everyone
  3. Create a #verify channel that everyone can read but only Mira can write to
  4. In the dashboard: pick the verified role + verify channel → Post panel
