Every server's Mira config was reset
We migrated hosts a few days ahead of Brickhosting's July 10 shutdown. The good news: we're now running on Cybrancee and everything is stable. The bad news: we couldn't import server config from the old host due to technical incompatibility.
That means every server using Mira is back at default settings, as if the bot just joined for the first time. There's no way for us to recover it โ the data is gone, not hiding somewhere.
What was reset: Welcome messages, ticket panels, auto-mod rules, autoresponder rules, verification setup, anti-nuke thresholds, reaction roles, sticky messages, counter channels, saved embeds, log channels, and every dashboard preference.
What was NOT affected: Your Discord server itself. Your roles, channels, members, permissions, and content are exactly as you left them. Templates you published in the Shop are also intact โ they lived in a separate table that migrated cleanly.
Fastest way back
You've got two options depending on how custom your setup was.
The Community, Gaming, and Streamer bundles apply welcome + verify + anti-nuke + auto-mod + tickets in one click. You'll just need to set channels.
Reconfigure each feature manually. Best if your old setup was heavily customized and no template quite fits.
What happened
Brickhosting.org announced on June 28 that they might shut down July 10 due to financial issues. We started evaluating replacements the same day.
We chose Cybrancee โ the migration completed cleanly for the bot process itself. But their runtime setup didn't accept our old SQLite database format on first pass, and rather than wait for a fix that might not come we cut over with a fresh DB. It's not what we wanted, but it kept the bot online.
About pricing
The core commitment stays the same: every feature stays free. We're still evaluating an optional supporter tier for people who want to help cover hosting โ badge, priority support, that kind of thing โ but nothing is decided and nothing gets paywalled.
If that changes, it'll be announced here first.
Timeline
- Jun 28Brickhosting posts their financial notice.
- Jun 29We publish original notice, begin host evaluation.
- Jul 1Migration to Cybrancee complete. Old-host database import fails.
- Jul 2Fully operational on Cybrancee. This update goes live.
Sorry about the reset. It's the outcome I wanted least out of this migration, but the bot is up and stable, which is the outcome that mattered most. The Shop should make rebuilding fast.
